Attestation of pension receipts/ life certificate

Eligibility : Sri Lankan nationals residing in France and other concurrently accredited countries which include Spain, Portugal, Monaco and Andorra.

There are two options available for you to apply for a attestation documents as indicated below:

1. By Visiting the Embassy in France - Embassy of Sri Lanka in France,16 Rue Spontini, 75016 Paris 

2. By sending all the required documents by Post: Embassy of Sri Lanka in France, 16 Rue Spontini, 75016 Paris

Sri Lankan Pensioners living in France or accredited countries should present themselves personally at the Embassy or at Sri Lankan Honorary Consulates in Portugal or Spain in order to obtain life certificate or attestation for pension receipt.

Attestation or certification of signature of applicant on pension documents/ life certificates or countersigning their signature on the official forms may be exempted from payments at the discretion of the head of mission.

Required documents:

1. Dully completed Pension Receipt/Life certificate form
2. Valid Sri Lankan Passport
3. Sri Lankan National Identity Card if available
4. Documents to prove the eligibility to live in France.
5. Pensioner's Identity Card issued by the Director, Department of Pensions in Colombo.
